These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lexum website and the Lexum mobile application (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using Lexum, you agree to these Terms.

About Lexum

Lexum provides translation and vocabulary learning tools designed to help you discover, organize, and retain new words. Some parts of the Service may be in early access or pre-release stage and may change over time.

Accounts

Certain features require creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions

Some features may be offered through paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are processed by the respective platform provider (Apple App Store or Google Play) and may be managed through RevenueCat.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your app store account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • attempt to access systems or data without authorization
  • interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law

Content & intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Lexum or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without permission, except where allowed by law.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or third-party outages.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Translation outputs and learning recommendations may contain inaccuracies and are provided for informational purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexum will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using Lexum at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
